Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Vice President of Strategy & Business Development to shape strategic initiatives across the Biopharma Services landscape. Lead a seasoned team, identify high-impact growth opportunities, and partner with senior leaders to drive value creation.

The role requires deep industry knowledge, strong leadership, and a track record in strategic growth, partnerships, and complex analysis. Location: Dublin, OH preferred with relocation support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business; Master's preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years in strategy roles.
• Experience in Biopharma Services or related pharma functions.
• Strong understanding of HUB services, RWE, 3PL.
• Healthcare provider or consulting background preferred.
• Strategic thinking, business acumen, analytical methods.
• Familiarity with specialty pharma landscape and M&A.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Willingness to travel ~10%

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy development for Specialty businesses servicing pharma manufacturers and provider offices.
• Prepare best-in-class content to support strategic recommendations.
• Anticipate industry evolution and align strategies accordingly.
• Identify portfolio gaps and scalable capabilities.
• Lead or support business case development for new initiatives.
• Develop and maintain a pipeline of strategic opportunities.
• Drive merger and acquisition processes with Corporate Development.
• Advise leaders and guide strategic direction and objectives.
• Lead Strategy & Business Development team with coaching and accountability.
