Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a strategic leader to shape and accelerate growth across its Specialty businesses. The VP, Strategy & Business Development will identify high-impact opportunities, guide a seasoned strategy team, and partner with executives to drive enterprise value.

Ideal candidates bring 10+ years in strategy, strong industry knowledge in Biopharma Services, and proven people leadership. This role is based at Cardinal Health HQ with Dublin, OH location preference and relocation

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s preferred.
10+ years in strategy roles preferred.
Experience in Biopharma Services or related healthcare/pharma functions beneficial.
Strong understanding of HUB services, RWE, 3PL and related offerings.
Strategic thinking, business acumen and analytical methods are essential.

Responsibilities

Lead strategy development for Specialty businesses and align with broader enterprise goals.
Develop best-in-class content to support strategic recommendations.
Anticipate industry evolution and identify portfolio gaps to scale capabilities.
Manage business case development (market analysis, value proposition, economics, launch).
Drive pipeline of strategic opportunities and M&A processes with Corporate Development.
Advise senior leaders and mentor Strategy & Business Development team members.
