Cardinal Health is seeking a Vice President, Strategy & Business Development to shape strategic initiatives across its Specialty businesses. This role reports to the SVP and leads a seasoned strategy team, combining vision with execution excellence in Biopharma Services.

The position requires strong financial acumen, long‑term growth focus, and the ability to build alignment across diverse stakeholders while driving enterprise value creation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher degree in business or related field; strong strategic orientation.
• Minimum 10 years in strategy roles with pharma/healthcare exposure preferred.
• Experience in Biopharma Services or related pharma industry functions.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy development for Specialty businesses serving pharmaceutical manufacturers and providers.
• Develop best-in-class content to support strategic recommendations.
• Align industry evolution with internal capability and portfolio gaps.
• Lead or support business cases from market analysis to launch.
• Drive strategic pipeline development and cross‑functional collaboration.
• Oversee M&A processes from business unit view and post‑integration oversight.
• Be a trusted advisor to senior leaders and develop the Strategy team.
