Job summary

JPMorgan Chase is seeking a Vice President, Strategic Analytics in Risk Management and Compliance to own acquisition credit strategies for the Business Card portfolio. You will partner across product, finance, operations, technology, and control to develop, implement, and monitor decision rules, governance, and risk segmentation that balance growth and risk.

The role requires advanced analytics with SAS, SQL, Python and a track record of influencing senior leaders.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in credit risk management or related analytics.
• Experience developing and managing credit strategies or decision frameworks.
• Strong analytical skills with large datasets.
• Proficiency in SAS and SQL to drive business decisions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication to senior leadership.
• Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and lead cross-functional initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Own acquisition credit criteria and decision rules for Business Card.
• Analyze portfolio performance and identify risk-adjusted growth opportunities.
• Develop analytical solutions using SAS, SQL, Python and visualization tools.
• Balance growth, profitability, customer experience, and risk.
• Lead end-to-end implementation of credit criteria changes.
• Establish monitoring and governance across credit criteria lifecycle.
• Coach junior analysts and promote analytical rigor.
