Job summary

JPMorgan Chase is seeking a Vice President to lead Card Acquisition Credit Strategy within the Card Credit Decisioning team. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field.
• 5 years of consumer lending, originations, retail credit, or credit risk strategy at a large financial services firm.
• Demonstrated ability to evaluate, monitor, and manage credit risk in a regulated environment.
• Working knowledge of banking regulations and control expectations relevant to credit underwriting and originations.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute pre-qualification credit risk strategies to achieve growth and credit performance goals.
• Partner with product and finance stakeholders to assess new credit opportunities and build actionable execution plans.
• Establish review routines and governance to validate strategy assumptions and ensure disciplined execution.
• Collaborate with modeling partners to shape credit model inputs, testing approaches, and roadmap priorities.
• Develop performance metrics and monitoring dashboards; lead senior leadership readouts and recommendations.
• Help shape credit policies, underwriting standards, and risk management frameworks for acquisitions.
• Ensure adherence to applicable banking regulations, internal controls, and policy requirements.
• Coordinate across stakeholders (risk, underwriting, legal, finance, and operations) to balance growth with risk outcomes.
• Provide approvals or recommendations for complex acquisitions-related credit decisions and exceptions
