Job summary

Client is seeking a VP, Services Operations to lead the operational engine behind a services business. The role requires a strategic operator who aligns services sales, project delivery, finance, and contractual compliance across a multi-faceted environment.

The leader will guide the PMO, strengthen team leadership, and help build processes and talent to support consistent delivery and business growth. Location is remote with executive-level responsibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, operations management, or related field required.
• 10+ years of experience in operations, project management, and/or finance.
• At least 5 years of leadership experience managing teams.
• Experience in technology or consulting with strategic business planning.
• Strong financial acumen and understanding of multi-faceted operations.

This leader will oversee the operational engine behind a services business, ensuring strong execution from statement of work creation through project closure. The role requires a strategic operator who can align services sales, project delivery, financial discipline, and contractual compliance across a multi-faceted environment. This person will also guide the PMO, strengthen team leadership, and help build the processes and talent needed to support consistent delivery and business growth.

Location: Remote

Compensation: $280,000 – $315,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end operational execution of the services business from SOW creation to project closure.
• Build and retain high-performing teams through effective leadership and coaching.
• Ensure compliance with financial and contractual requirements across services operations.
• Provide strategic direction to the PMO for consistent project delivery.
