For our client, we are seeking a VP, Engineering to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space.

This leader will guide the engineering organization’s long‑term direction, with a strong focus on platform engineering, architecture, and operating model evolution. The role will partner closely with senior executives and cross‑functional teams to strengthen execution, improve engineering effectiveness, and deliver measurable business impact. This is a highly strategic leadership position for someone who can translate technical vision into scalable practices, organizational clarity, and operational excellence.

Location: Remote

Compensation: $302,000 – $483,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Evolve and execute the platform engineering vision and strategy aligned with company goals
• Lead multi-year changes to engineering architecture and operating models
• Drive strategic initiatives to achieve best‑in‑class engineering results
• Design and evolve organizational structures and accountability models for platform execution
• Advance software development practices through engineering standards and operational excellence
• Establish clear, quantifiable outcomes for organizational performance and impact
• Build strong cross‑functional relationships to optimize company‑wide strategies

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering experience, with 7+ years in leadership roles
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Proven track record in full‑lifecycle ownership of critical platforms and services
• Strong business and technical acumen in systems and software engineering
• Exceptional analytical and strategic thinking skills with a focus on quantifiable results
• Experience in operational excellence and performance metrics management
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with C‑suite leaders and cross‑functional teams
