Job summary

Enterprise Bank & Trust is seeking a VP, Senior Credit Analyst to underwrite complex commercial loans secured by real estate, inventories, or unsecured loans. You will analyze cash flow, collateral, and overall feasibility, while coordinating with lending teams to manage maturities and pipelines.

Ideal candidates have a finance-focused bachelor's degree and 10+ years in commercial credit, with expertise in asset-based lending and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or related field.
• A minimum of 10 years' experience in commercial credit involving complex transactions.
• Experience in asset based lending required both in underwriting and monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite commercial loan transactions, including CRE, C&I, leveraged finance, and tax credits.
• Clearly communicate with internal and external customers.
• Work with others to produce needed outcomes and meet deadlines.
• Complete follow-up analysis on financial statements and borrowing base history.
• Maintain up to date knowledge of financial industry, economy, market conditions, and competition.
• Ensure credit related follow-up items are reflected on follow-up systems.
• Provide support to lending officers in structuring and analyzing potential transactions.
• Partner with lending units to oversee future loan maturities and current pipeline.
• Be an active participant in weekly loan committee meetings as a Credit Department representative.
• Assist the Credit Manager in coaching and mentoring junior credit associates.
