Job summary

Enterprise Bank & Trust is seeking a VP, Senior Credit Analyst to lead underwriting of complex commercial loans, including real estate, inventory, and receivables. You will evaluate cash flow, collateral, and borrowing base data to form solid recommendations and monitor ongoing credit risk.

This role partners with lending teams, supports officers in structuring transactions, and participates in weekly loan committee meetings.

Qualifications

• Ability to underwrite a transaction in a clear and concise manner.
• Ability to analyze financial statements in terms of cash flow, debt service, projection analysis and trend analysis.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite commercial loan transactions, including CRE, C&I, leveraged finance, and tax credits.
• Clearly communicate with internal and external customers.
• Collaborate to produce needed outcomes and meet deadlines.
• Complete follow-up analysis on financial statements and borrowing base history.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of financial industry, economy, market conditions, and competition.
• Ensure credit follow-up items are reflected on follow-up systems.
• Provide support to lending officers in structuring and analyzing potential transactions.
• Partner with lending units to oversee future loan maturities and current pipeline.
• Be an active participant in weekly loan committee meetings as a Credit Department representative.
• Coach and mentor junior credit associates; assist Relationship Managers on client calls.
