Job summary

State Street is seeking a Vice President for Real Assets Fund Accounting & Administration to service clients within the Private Markets division. You will supervise staff, manage client relationships, and ensure timely reporting and day-to-day accounting support for clients.

You will coordinate with internal teams and Big 4 firms for audits and tax work papers, navigate partnership agreements, and maintain strong communication with investment professionals and investors to meet client

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with accounting.
• 8+ years of general ledger accounting or audit experience.
• 6+ years of leadership experience.
• Previous financial reporting experience.
• IFRS experience is required.
• Advanced Excel skills (advanced formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP).

Responsibilities

• Supervise lower-level staff (including Associate 1, Associate 2, Senior Staff, Officer, and AVP).
• Manage client relationships with client personnel and fund investors.
• Review quarterly and annual financial work paper packages including portfolio schedules, accruals, and PCAP allocations.
• Review quarterly and annual financial statements and footnotes.
• Review and/or preparation of annual tax work paper packages.
• Coordinate annual audit and tax return preparation with Big 4 accounting firms.
