Job summary

State Street seeks a Vice President for Private Markets within the Alternative Investment Solutions group to service clients and supervise staff. You will deliver reporting, day-to-day accounting, and coordinate with clients and colleagues to meet deadlines.

The role involves managing relationships with investors, reviewing financial statements, and coordinating audits and tax work papers with Big 4 firms. Strong leadership and financial reporting experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting required.
• 12+ years general ledger accounting or audit experience.
• 6+ years of leadership experience.
• Previous financial reporting experience.
• Advanced Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP).

Responsibilities

• Supervise lower level staff (Associate 1/2, Senior Staff, Officer, AVP).
• Manage client relationships with client personnel and fund investors.
• Review quarterly/annual financial work papers, schedules, accruals, PCAP allocations.
• Review quarterly/annual financial statements and footnotes.
• Coordinate annual audit and tax return preparations with Big 4 firms.
• Ensure compliance with investment fund documents and agreements.
• Maintain client deliverables and respond to inquiries daily.
