Job summary

State Street is seeking a Vice President for our Private Markets service line within the Alternative Investment Solutions Group. The role partners with clients and colleagues to set workflow and deadlines while supervising staff.

The VP will deliver reporting and daily accounting support for clients, coordinating with Big 4 on audits and tax returns, and ensuring compliance with investment fund agreements. Heavy client interaction and leadership responsibilities are integral to the role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with accounting.
• 8+ years of general ledger accounting or audit experience.
• 5+ years of leadership experience.
• Previous Financial reporting experience.
• Advanced Excel skills (advanced formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP).

Responsibilities

• Supervise lower level staff and manage team workflow.
• Manage client relationships with client personnel and fund investors.
• Review quarterly/annual financial work papers, schedules, accruals and PCAP allocations.
• Review quarterly/annual financial statements and footnotes.
• Review and/or prepare annual tax work papers and capital calls/distributions.
