Job summary

State Street Corporation is seeking a Fund Accounting & Administration, Officer to lead day-to-day accounting and administration for investment funds and affiliated entities. The role supports the Fund Controller Group within the RealAssets division and involves heavy client interaction and collaboration with the IT team to deliver accurate, timely reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree
• 5+ years of general ledger accounting or audit experience
• 1 year of leadership experience
• Previous Financial reporting experience
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, vlookup)
• CPA or CPA Candidate (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Supervise lower staff (Associate 1/2, Senior Staff)
• Manage client relationships with client personnel and fund investors
• Review quarterly/annual financial work papers, schedules, accruals, PCAP allocations
• Review quarterly/annual financial statements and footnotes
• Review/prep of annual tax work papers and capital calls/distributions
• Coordinate with db team on client deliverables (statements, notices)
• Heavy client interaction daily
• Coordinate annual audit and tax return prep with Big 4
• Review waterfall and capital account allocations
• Ensure compliance with LP agreements and fund documents
