Job summary

State Street's International Fund Services (IFS), part of State Street, seeks a Vice President for Private Markets to service clients and supervise staff. You will partner with clients and colleagues to establish workflows and deadlines while delivering reporting and day-to-day accounting support.

You will manage relationships with clients and fund investors, review quarterly/annual financials and tax work papers, coordinate audits with Big 4, and handle capital calls and distributions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with accounting.
• 8+ years of general ledger accounting or audit experience.
• 6+ years of leadership experience.
• IRFS experience is required.
• Advanced Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP).

Responsibilities

• Supervising all lower-level staff and managing client relationships.
• Reviewing quarterly and annual financial work papers, statements and footnotes.
• Review and/or preparation of tax work papers, capital calls, distributions, and notices.
• Reviewing bank reconciliations, post journal entries and management fee calculations.
• Coordinate annual audits and tax return preparation with Big 4 firms.
