Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline or equivalent practical experience.
• Two years of direct people leadership experience in an analytical function.
• Six years of industry experience devising analytical solutions to business problems using large, complex datasets.
• Demonstrated ability to influence business decisions and outcomes within a matrixed organization.
• Proficiency in at least one analytical programming language (Python, R, or SAS).
• Proficiency with databases and querying (SQL and modern cloud data platforms).
• Strong analytical and statistical skills with a demonstrated focus on business applications.
• Proven ability to synthesize results into recommendations and communicate effectively to partners and stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of data scientists and analysts by coaching, setting clear expectations, and supporting career growth.
• Partner with credit card product and marketing teams to shape acquisition strategy, including offer design and targeting approaches.
• Build, validate, and deploy predictive models that improve acquisition efficiency and customer experience.
• Deliver end-to-end analyses and scalable reporting to evaluate campaign performance and identify actionable learnings.
• Identify opportunities across the customer journey and translate insights into experiments, strategies, and measurable outcomes.
• Communicate complex analytical results clearly to senior stakeholders, enabling timely and confident decision-making.
• Promote strong analytics practices, including experimentation discipline, model governance, and continuous improvement.
• Stay current on industry trends and emerging technologies to advance methods, tooling, and ways of working.
