Job summary

Firebird Music in Los Angeles is looking for an experienced professional to lead their synchronization licensing efforts. This newly created role will be responsible for establishing processes and directly pitching creative opportunities on behalf of the company’s repertoire.

The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, strong relationships within the sync community, and excellent negotiation skills. The position offers flexible PTO and equity participation as part of a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in synchronization licensing at a record label or music publisher.
• Established relationships and an extensive network within the sync community.
• Strong negotiation skills with a demonstrated ability to drive revenue.

Responsibilities

• Creatively pitch frontline and catalog repertoire, securing sync placements across various media.
• Lead negotiations for licensing clearances.
• Collaborate with legal and finance departments to execute paperwork and invoicing.
