Job summary

BKF seeks an accomplished Business Development leader to drive the planning and government services vertical. You will guide BD strategy, win strategies, and cross-selling initiatives across California offices, building strong client relationships and leadership alignment.

The role requires deep market knowledge, a proven track record in strategic planning, and the ability to manage complex proposals while collaborating across divisions.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 15 years of experience in business development, marketing leadership, and strategic planning within A/E/C or infrastructure services, preferably in California.
• Located next to one of BKF's Northern California offices.
• Proven leader in client relationship management, strategic planning, and proposal strategy and negotiations.
• Ability to leverage key contacts with private organizations and state and municipal agencies in the region to build a robust BKF sales pipeline.

Responsibilities

• Lead a comprehensive BD program with annual bookings goals and weighted pipeline for the Division.
• Develop and execute business development strategies for planning and government services to grow market share.
• Identify cross-selling opportunities across service lines and optimize the sales funnel.
• Develop and pursue strategic pursuits and manage complex win strategies and proposals.
• Represent BKF at industry events and client meetings to promote brand visibility and thought leadership.
