Job summary

BKF Engineers seeks a seasoned VP of Business Development to lead strategic growth across California and beyond. You will drive bookings, create client-centric growth strategies, and supervise Regional BD Directors while collaborating with Marketing and senior leadership to strengthen BKF's brand as an AEC industry leader.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of business development, marketing leadership and strategic planning in A/E/C or infrastructure sectors
• Based near BKF's Northern California offices
• Proven success in leading teams, managing client relationships, strategic selling and revenue growth
• Bachelor's or Master's in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Civil Engineering, or related field

Responsibilities

• Lead BD program annual financial goals for the Division
• Develop and execute BD strategies for planning/government services
• Identify cross-selling opportunities across service lines
• Build and implement sales/marketing initiatives to drive growth
• Identify pursue new opportunities in water and transportation with clients
• Drive Pursuit to Win from opportunity creation through contract negotiation
• Manage complex win strategies and diverse procurement methods
• Mentor Regional BD Directors and align with senior leadership
• Align BD efforts with the company’s strategic goals and market expansion
