Job summary

Top Echelon Software, LLC seeks a strategic Vice President of Operations to lead a growing multi-state 3PL network, with full P&L responsibility and a hands-on approach to scaling warehousing, distribution, and value-added services.

You will oversee six states, develop senior leaders, drive profitability, and implement standardized processes. This role requires on-site presence in Bowling Green, KY with regional travel.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive operations leadership in 3PL or warehousing.
• 5+ years overseeing multi-site operations via directors or regional managers.
• Proven full P&L management across multiple facilities.
• Demonstrated success improving operational efficiency, profitability, safety, labor productivity, and customer satisfaction.
• Experience launching new facilities, implementing major customer accounts, or managing operational growth.
• Strong understanding of WMS, labor management, KPIs, and CI methodologies.
• Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving, and strategic planning skills.
• Ability to lead geographically dispersed teams while maintaining consistency.
• Willingness to work on-site in Bowling Green, KY, with regional travel.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multi-site warehousing, distribution, fulfillment, and logistics operations across six states.
• Manage and develop Directors of Operations, Operations Excellence, and Safety, ensuring accountability and performance.
• Maintain full P&L responsibility, focusing on profitability, cost control, labor productivity, and efficiency.
• Establish SOPs, performance metrics, and CI initiatives across locations.
• Drive improvements in safety, inventory accuracy, customer service, and retention.
• Lead new facility startups, customer implementations, and expansions.
• Partner with Sales and leadership on growth, pricing, and planning.
• Use WMS, EDI, and reporting to improve visibility and decisions.
• Implement labor management strategies and cost-saving initiatives.
• Build leadership through coaching and development.
