Connectly Recruiting is seeking a strategic, hands-on Vice President of Operations to lead a growing multi-state 3PL network. This executive will own profitability, develop leaders, and drive continuous improvement across warehousing, distribution, and value-added services.

The role is on-site in Bowling Green, KY with regional travel and direct reports to the CEO. You will oversee six states, manage Directors of Operations and Safety, implement standardized metrics, and partner with sales on

Competenze

• 10+ years of progressive operations leadership experience in 3PL, warehousing, or related fields.
• 5+ years of multi-site leadership through directors or regional managers.
• Proven experience managing full P&L across multiple facilities.
• Demonstrated track record of improving efficiency, profitability, safety, and customer satisfaction.
• Experience launching new facilities or managing operational growth.
• Strong knowledge of WMS, labor management, KPIs, and continuous improvement.

• Oversee multi-site warehousing, distribution, fulfillment, and logistics operations across six states.
• Develop and supervise Directors of Operations, Operations Excellence, and Safety.
• Maintain full P&L responsibility with focus on profitability and cost control.
• Establish standardized procedures, metrics, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Drive safety, inventory accuracy, customer service, and labor productivity improvements.
• Lead new facility startups, customer implementations, and expansions.
• Collaborate with Sales and executive leadership on growth and planning.
• Utilize WMS, EDI, and reporting tools to improve visibility and decision making.
• Implement labor management strategies and productivity standards.
• Build leadership pipeline through coaching and development.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and customer requirements.
