Professional Recruiting Consultants, Inc. seeks a Vice President of Operations to lead a multi-state 3PL network, overseeing warehousing, distribution, fulfillment, and value-added services. The role requires hands-on leadership, profitability focus, and strategic execution across locations.

The executive will build high-performing teams, drive continuous improvement, and report directly to the CEO, with regional travel and on-site work in Bowling Green, KY.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive operations leadership experience in 3PL or warehousing.
• 5+ years overseeing multi-site operations through directors or regional managers.
• Proven full P&L responsibility across multiple facilities.
• Experience launching new facilities and managing growth.
• Strong knowledge of WMS, EDI, KPIs, and process improvement.
• Willingness to work on-site in Bowling Green, KY with regional travel.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multi-site warehousing, distribution, fulfillment, and logistics across six states.
• Develop Directors of Operations, Operations Excellence, and Safety; ensure performance.
• Maintain full P&L responsibility, focusing on profitability and labor productivity.
• Establish SOPs, metrics, and continuous improvement across locations.
• Drive safety, inventory accuracy, customer service, and retention improvements.
• Lead new facility startups and customer implementations.
• Partner with Sales and leadership on growth, pricing, and planning.
• Utilize WMS, EDI, and reporting to improve visibility and decisions.
• Implement labor management strategies and cost-saving initiatives.
• Build leadership through coaching and development.
• Ensure safety compliance and customer requirements.
• Participate in executive planning, budgeting, and capital investments.
