Job summary

Kimmel & Associates is seeking a Vice President of Construction Technology to lead strategy, growth, and operations for our client’s construction tech business. This executive will build a scalable tech organization, drive recurring revenue, and integrate solutions across the dealership.

The ideal candidate combines commercial leadership with a deep understanding of construction equipment, machine control, connected assets, and customer productivity.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in construction technology or related industries.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen with budgeting, profitability, and performance oversight.
• Proven ability to build teams, drive organizational change, and manage cross-functional initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive construction technology strategy aligned with dealership objectives and OEM priorities.
• Drive technology revenue and profitability across sales, aftermarket, rental, and customer fleets.
• Lead go-to-market strategies for machine control, fleet management, and digital productivity solutions.
• Expand software subscriptions, services, and other recurring revenue opportunities.
• Build and develop a high-performing technology organization across sales, support, service, training, and field operations.
• Increase customer adoption through onboarding, implementation, and ongoing support.
• Demonstrate measurable improvements in jobsite safety, productivity, and profitability.
• Own revenue, gross profit, OPEX, budgeting, and ROI for the technology arm.
• Establish scalable processes for technology sales, installation, service, and subscription management.
• Forge OEM/partner relationships to align product strategy with customer needs.
