Job summary

Kimmel & Associates is seeking a Vice President of Construction Technology to lead the strategy, growth, and operational performance of its construction technology business. This executive will build a scalable technology organization, increase customer adoption, develop recurring revenue streams, and integrate technology solutions across the dealership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, construction management, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive construction technology strategy aligned with dealership objectives, market opportunities, and OEM priorities.
• Drive technology revenue and profitability across equipment sales, aftermarket, rental, and customer-owned fleets.
• Lead go-to-market strategies for machine control, grade control, fleet management, connected equipment, automation, and digital productivity solutions.
• Expand software subscriptions, technology services, support agreements, and other sustainable revenue opportunities.
• Build, lead, and develop a high-performing technology organization spanning multiple functions.
• Increase customer adoption through onboarding, implementation, training, and ongoing support.
• Demonstrate measurable improvements in jobsite safety, production, operating costs, and profitability.
• Own business performance including revenue, gross profit, operating expenses, budgeting, and ROI.
• Establish scalable processes for technology sales, installation, service, and subscription management.
• Partner with equipment sales, rental, service, and parts leadership to integrate technology into customer relationships.
• Build executive-level relationships with Caterpillar, SITECH/Trimble, and other providers to align product strategy.
• Establish KPIs and reporting systems to measure financial results and adoption of technology.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and partnerships to strengthen competitive position.
