Job summary

Autocar seeks a seasoned VP of Business Development to own the Construction market strategy, build and nurture national fleet relationships, and lead go-to-market initiatives with a focus on uptime, lifecycle value, and direct-to-fleet engagement. This leadership role requires deep industry fluency and a track record of advancing strategic accounts.

• 10+ years of senior commercial experience in construction or OEM/manufacturer sectors.
• Demonstrated track record with C-suite and VP-level relationships.
• Experience developing and executing go-to-market strategies beyond territory management.

Responsibilities

• Define and own Autocar’s competitive strategy in the Construction market.
• Identify and develop new market opportunities and verticals.
• Own national fleet relationships with large construction buyers at C-suite/VP levels.
• Lead revenue lifecycle activities with Sales to drive demand, contracts, and retention.
