Provident Data Centers is seeking a VP, Power Development to build and lead behind-the-meter power development for the company's hyperscale data center platform. You will secure sites with strong power fundamentals and develop relationships with IPPs, utilities, and other energy ecosystem participants.

This role reports to the Managing Partner and collaborates with the Hyperscale Data Center Development and land acquisition teams to identify opportunities and structure power generation

Formación

• Bachelors in Engineering/Business/Finance is preferred.
• 10+ years in power development including generation, utility, or IPP.
• Broad executive network across IPP and power industry.
• Knowledge of natural gas, renewables, and battery storage.
• Experience structuring power deals and economics.

Responsabilidades

• Partner with hyperscale development to identify behind-the-meter power solutions.
• Evaluate sites for favorable power fundamentals and interconnection feasibility.
• Assess generation options (gas, renewables, storage) across portfolios.
• Develop relationships with IPPs, utilities, EPCs, fuel suppliers, and partners.
• Lead procurement of fuel and structure PPAs, tolling, and supply contracts.
• Lead business development and track market trends affecting behind-the-meter power.
