Job summary

Vantage Data Centers seeks a Director, Power Generation Strategy to lead North American on-site and behind-the-meter generation initiatives. You will shape IPP partnerships, technology strategies, and procurement to accelerate power delivery for large-scale data centers.

Leadership across IPP collaborations, equipment strategy, and regulatory considerations is essential, with a focus on cost, feasibility, and scalable solutions. Remote flexibility allowed with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Energy, Economics, Business, or related discipline.
• 10+ years of experience in power generation, IPP/BTM development, or power infrastructure roles.
• Experience with IPPs, BTM developers, natural gas power facilities, OEMs or EPCs, utilities, or related infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Own IPP Partnerships, Generation Procurement Strategy, Generation Technology, and Nuclear/SMR Strategy.
• Lead on-site and behind-the-meter generation strategies to accelerate power delivery.
• Evaluate generation technologies (gas, fuel cells, BESS, nuclear/SMR) for feasibility and cost.
