Dematic seeks a Vice President, Solution Development for the Americas to lead end-to-end solution strategy across North America, integrating software and data-driven technologies to enable profitable growth and strong customer outcomes.

The role partners with Sales, Product Management, Engineering and Operations to balance innovation with commercial viability, and to build scalable processes and high-performing teams across multiple regions.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience (15+ years) leading large, matrixed technical or solution organizations.
• Strong commercial acumen with a track record of influencing deals and performance.
• Deep expertise in supply chain, automation, distribution center operations, or solution design.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high-performing Solution Development organization across consulting, engineering, and solution design disciplines.
• Drive profitable order intake growth by improving win rates, solution differentiation, and margin quality.
• Define and govern solution architecture standards, design frameworks, and quoting methodologies.
• Improve proposal speed, quality, and accuracy through scalable processes, tools, and continuous improvement.
• Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Engineering, Product, and Operations to deliver compelling, executable solutions.
• Champion the integration of software (e.g., WMS, WCS, simulation) into end-to-end solution design.
• Ensure operational readiness and seamless transition from solution design to project execution.
• Build organizational capability through talent development, succession planning, and strategic workforce design.
