Job summary

Dematic seeks a VP, Solution Development - Business Solutions (Americas) to define and execute end-to-end solution strategy across North America. You will lead a large, multi-disciplinary team and partner with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Operations to deliver scalable, data-driven solutions that drive growth and improved win rates.

This senior role requires a strategic mindset, deep supply chain/domain expertise, and exceptional stakeholder management.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience in large, matrixed organizations.
• Strong commercial acumen with a track record of influencing deal outcomes.
• Deep expertise in supply chain, automation, or distribution center operations.
• Strong software knowledge and experience with go-to-market strategies for integrated solutions.
• Ability to develop scalable governance models and operational efficiencies.
• Executive-level communication and stakeholder management across functions.
• Strategic mindset aligning long-term vision with execution and results.
• Experience leading business transformation and high-performing teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high-performing Solution Development organization across consulting, engineering, and solution design disciplines.
• Drive profitable order intake growth by improving win rates and margin quality.
• Define and govern solution architecture standards, design frameworks, and quoting methodologies.
• Improve proposal speed, quality, and accuracy through scalable processes and tools.
• Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Engineering, Product, and Operations to deliver compelling solutions.
• Champion integration of software (e.g., WMS, WCS, simulation) into end-to-end solution design.
• Ensure operational readiness and seamless transition from design to project execution.
• Build organizational capability through talent development and strategic workforce design.
