The Role
At Andesite, we’re redefining security operations. We seek a strategic yet hands-on VP of Marketing to own our market story. You will lead our go-to-market strategy, growth initiatives, demand generation, and corporate narrative. This role involves creating a new industry category and positioning Andesite as a leader transforming the cybersecurity landscape. You will work directly with senior leadership, product marketing, and revenue teams to build our marketing engine from scratch, craft compelling narratives, and grow our market presence. What You’ll Do
  1. Strategy Development: Lead vision and execution of data-driven marketing efforts that address audience needs and establish us as a category leader. Develop growth, partner, and channel strategies to drive awareness, demand, and engagement.
  2. Marketing Leadership: Build and lead a marketing team supporting Andesite’s growth. Manage the marketing budget for maximum ROI.
  3. Campaigns and Events: Design targeted campaigns and events in collaboration with revenue teams to generate qualified leads, accelerate sales, and grow ARR.
  4. Demand Generation: Develop multi-channel programs to generate leads and pipeline. Regularly report on KPIs like MQLs, SQLs, and ROI.
  5. Corporate Communications: Maintain a cohesive brand voice, oversee media relations, craft executive communications, and develop a brand playbook.
  6. Vendor Management: Manage relationships with external vendors, agencies, and freelancers.
  7. Market Analytics: Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and establish reporting processes to track marketing performance and ROI.
Who You Are
  • 14+ years in B2B marketing, with 10+ years in leadership roles at startups or high-tech sectors like AI, cybersecurity, SaaS.
  • Proven success in building and leading marketing teams and practices.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in marketing data tools (e.g., HubSpot, Google Analytics, Tableau).
  • Track record of launching successful go-to-market campaigns and building industry networks.
Even Better If You Have
  • Proficiency in marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo, Pardot).
  • Experience with CRM systems, preferably Salesforce.
  • Familiarity with SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz).
