We serve 2.2 million members, including those in employer-sponsored health plans, Medicaid, Medicare Advantage, and commercial insurers, guiding them on a personalized journey to healthy eating while saving time and money.

Our platform integrates dietary assessments, nutrition counseling, online food ordering, and cost-effective meal planning, partnering with national and regional retailers across the U.S., many accepting SNAP/EBT, to make healthy food accessible. In 2024, we secured a $200 million investment from TPG’s Rise Fund to expand our reach, especially to low-income populations affected by diet-related diseases.

About The Role

As the Vice President of Marketing, you will lead a high-performing, mission-driven marketing team responsible for increasing Foodsmart’s reach, engagement, and impact. Reporting to the Chief Experience Officer, you will oversee both member and B2B marketing, contributing to company growth, brand strengthening, and mission impact.

Your focus will be on member marketing—maximizing eligible members, driving activation and retention, and optimizing customer lifetime value while minimizing acquisition costs. You will develop and execute data-driven campaigns across channels like email, SMS, outbound calling, digital media, and grassroots initiatives. Additionally, you will oversee B2B marketing strategies to enhance visibility, thought leadership, and industry presence.

You Will

  • Lead marketing efforts to reach eligible members, maximize their lifetime value, and minimize acquisition costs.
  • Create targeted campaigns leveraging first-party data across multiple channels.
  • Build and oversee B2B marketing to expand prospective client reach.
  • Define and execute Foodsmart’s brand and thought leadership strategies locally and nationally.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to meet revenue targets and align member demand with supply.
  • Design experiments to optimize marketing performance.

You Are

  • Results-driven, motivated by measurable targets, and goal-oriented.
  • A collaborative leader empowering your team and cross-functional partners.
  • Passionate about improving access to healthy food for underserved populations.
  • Data-savvy, experienced in running experiments and using dashboards to inform decisions.
  • Excellent at building relationships with stakeholders across product, operations, and clinical teams.

You Have

  • Proven success in local grassroots marketing with measurable ROI.
  • Deep understanding of health plan marketing and first-party data management.
  • Experience with multi-modal campaigns, automation, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Leadership skills to build and develop high-performing teams.
  • Passion for health equity and compliance with healthcare marketing regulations.

Salary Range: $220,000 - $250,000 annually, plus equity and benefits.
