Job summary

Stout, a leading investment banking firm, seeks a Vice President to lead M&A engagements in the Business Services sector. You will drive deal execution, develop client relationships, and mentor Associates, Analysts, and Interns while coordinating across deal teams and external advisors.

You’ll work with senior bankers, owners, executives, and sponsors to shape strategy, manage execution, and deliver actionable recommendations throughout the transaction lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience leading M&A transactions through full deal lifecycle.
• Strong understanding of sell-side execution and client coverage.
• Advanced financial modeling, valuation, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the execution of M&A and other investment banking engagements, managing strategy and client communication.
• Develop and execute business development initiatives, including client coverage and origination.
• Build relationships with business owners, executives, PE firms, and strategic buyers.
• Advise clients on transaction positioning, valuation, process strategy, and negotiations.
• Anticipate issues, assess risks, and propose actionable recommendations to keep deals moving.
• Direct analyses, valuation work, and client presentations with high quality.
