Job summary

Stout is seeking a Vice President for its Investment Banking team focused on the Business Services sector. You will lead M&A engagements, shape strategy, and collaborate with senior bankers, owners, and investors to drive deal origination and execution.

You will mentor Associates and Analysts, manage multiple engagements, and leverage AI-enabled tools to improve research and workflow while upholding professional standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business or related field.
• MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
• 7+ years of investment banking, M&A advisory, or equivalent experience.
• Experience leading M&A transactions through full deal lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Lead execution of M&A and related investment banking engagements with strategic oversight.
• Develop and implement business development initiatives and transaction origination.
• Build and maintain client relationships with owners, executives, PE firms, and strategic buyers.
• Advise clients on transaction positioning, valuation, negotiations, and process strategy.
• Direct financial analyses, valuation work, and client presentations.
• Coordinate deal teams and external advisors to ensure timely delivery.
