Job summary

Stout is seeking an experienced Associate to join its Investment Banking team, focused on Business Services. This role supports the execution of middle-market transactions including M&A, capital raising, ESOPs, and special situations.

You will partner with senior bankers, support client coverage and business development, and help manage key deal process aspects. You will advance the firm’s M&A and Capital Markets advisory work, build relationships, and contribute to a high-performing team

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or related field required.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Office.
• 3+ years of professional experience in related fields.
• Strong communication and relationship-building abilities.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior bankers to drive business development and execution.
• Lead evaluation, origination, and execution of deals across assignments in defense and government services markets.
• Build and maintain client relationships through high-quality execution and advisory services.
• Oversee all phases of transaction execution, coordinating internal teams and stakeholders.
• Mentor and manage junior team members to ensure timely, high-quality deliverables.
• Manage financial modeling, pitch materials, and deal processes with clear client communication.
