Job summary

Santander is seeking a SCIB Portfolio Manager (VP) to oversee credit monitoring and portfolio governance across US SCIB lending portfolios. The role covers Infrastructure Finance, Structured Finance, Leveraged Finance, IG corporate lending, and GTB-linked exposures.

Responsibilities include quarterly reviews, credit spreading, covenant monitoring, and lifecycle event management with Front Office, Credit, Agency, Operations, and Transaction Management. Base pay reflects senior level and location.

Qualifications

Bachelor degree or equivalent work experience.
Strong knowledge of CIB lending, credit analysis, portfolio management, financial spreading, covenant and collateral monitoring, credit documentation, ratings, amendments and portfolio reporting.
Experience across Infrastructure Finance, Structured Finance, Leveraged Finance, IG corporate lending or GTB preferred.

Responsibilities

Prepare, coordinate and/or review quarterly and annual credit reviews for assigned portfolio names, including financial performance and risk trends.
Perform or oversee credit spreading, financial analysis, variance analysis and borrower performance updates.
Monitor covenants, reporting requirements, collateral status, and ensure ongoing obligations are captured and tracked.
Support amendments, waivers, consents and lifecycle events through credit analysis and coordination.
Prepare portfolio reporting and governance materials for senior management and risk stakeholders.
