Job summary

Banco Santander SA in the United States is seeking an entry-to-early-career SCIB Portfolio Management Analyst for Lending. The role focuses on credit spreading, monitoring, covenant and collateral tracking, and portfolio reporting across multiple products within US SCIB COO Lending Solutions.

Develop foundational expertise in CIB lending lifecycle, work with Front Office, Credit, Risk, Agency and Operations, and contribute to process improvements in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or equivalent work experience.
• Foundational knowledge of financial statements, credit analysis, Excel and corporate finance.
• Exposure to banking, credit, lending, infrastructure finance, structured finance, leveraged finance, IG corporate lending or GTB helpful.

Responsibilities

• Credit Spreading and Analysis Support: perform financial spreading and basic credit analysis for assigned borrowers using financial statements and portfolio templates.
• Monitoring and Tracking: maintain trackers for financial statements, covenant certificates, collateral data, and reviews; escalate missing deliverables.
• Lifecycle and Documentation Support: assist with amendment, waiver and lifecycle event tracking and document organization for audits and reviews.
• Reporting and Process Support: prepare recurring status reports, covenant dashboards and data extracts under supervision.
• Development and Collaboration: build knowledge of various credit products and collaborate with stakeholders across teams.
