Job summary

HealthEquity seeks an AVP IAM & Governance to architect and lead an enterprise identity program. This remote role drives multi-year IAM strategy, governance, and risk management, aligning with zero-trust and regulatory requirements, while guiding authentication, directory, and access controls across the company.

You will lead a team of IAM professionals, collaborate with security, IT, and compliance, and shape industry standards through thought leadership and external engagement.

Qualifications

• Must lead IAM programs at enterprise scale.
• Fluency with OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML 2.0, SCIM, FIDO2/WebAuthn.
• Experience communicating risk to executives and regulators.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute multi-year IAM strategy and governance.
• Lead IAM architects, engineers, and analysts; mentor team.
• Own IGA, PAM, and non-human identity programs end-to-end.
• Architect enterprise auth, directory, and federation models.
• Interface with legal, compliance, and audit to demonstrate control effectiveness.
