Job summary

HealthEquity, Inc. is seeking an AVP Identity & Access Management to architect and lead a comprehensive identity program across IGA, PAM, and non-human identities. You will publish architecture, drive strategic roadmaps, and partner with executives to strengthen the security posture and audit readiness.

The role is remote with quarterly onsite onboarding at HealthEquity headquarters and travel as needed. Deep expertise in modern identity standards and enterprise IAM platforms is essential.

Qualifications

• 12–15+ years of information security experience with IAM leadership.
• Proven track record architecting large-scale identity transformations.
• Fluent in OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML 2.0, SCIM, and FIDO2/WebAuthn.
• Experience with IAM platforms (SailPoint, Saviynt, Okta, Entra, CyberArk).
• Strong governance, risk, and regulatory oversight for HIPAA/SOC2/SOX.

Responsibilities

• Define and evangelize a multi-year AI-led identity strategy.
• Lead IAM team, establish OKRs/SLOs, and manage stakeholder backlog.
• Architect enterprise identity governance, PAM, and non-human identities.
• Set authentication/authorization standards and SSO federation.
• Oversee CIEM, ITDR, and risk-based access certifications.
