Job summary

BKF seeks a senior leader to drive business development and marketing strategy within its Planning & Government Solutions Division. You will align BD goals with corporate strategy, manage a team of directors, and expand BKF’s California market through strategic client engagement and cross‑selling initiatives.

The role requires 15+ years in BD/marketing leadership in AEC or infrastructure services, with a strong network in California and the ability to travel across regions.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in business development, marketing leadership, and strategic planning in A/E/C or infra services.
• Located near BKF’s Northern California offices and able to travel.
• Experience in strategic selling, client relationships, and revenue growth.

Responsibilities

• Lead BD program annual financial goals (bookings, book-to-burn, weighted pipeline) for the Division.
• Develop and execute BD strategies for planning/government services to improve market share.
• Identify cross-selling opportunities and pursue new business opportunities.
• Oversee a team of Regional BD Directors and Managers and collaborate with senior leadership.
• Represent BKF at industry events and client meetings; travel as needed.
