Job summary

Avalere Health is seeking a VP, Group Account Director to lead key client accounts at a global pharma agency. This role requires strategic leadership, deep pharma experience, and the ability to manage senior client relationships while driving brand planning, budgeting, and profitability across assigned brands.

The successful candidate will guide agency teams, oversee multi-channel campaigns, and contribute to new business initiatives while upholding the agency vision and values.

Qualifications

• Deep understanding of pharma/healthcare advertising landscape
• Proven ability to lead integrated agency teams in brand planning, budget, execution and measurement
• Strong track record in developing valued relationships with senior client management

Responsibilities

• Own and lead the client's business within the agency, guiding strategy and team
• Develop and maintain senior-level client relationships and provide strategic value
• Lead annual brand planning and ensure profitability of assigned brands
• Direct and motivate account teams to deliver value to clients
• Identify opportunities and drive new business initiatives and organic growth
