Job summary

JPMorgan Chase's Chase Card and Connected Commerce Communications team is seeking a communications Vice President with a proven track record in storytelling, external PR campaigns, and engaging with media and influencers.

As External Communications VP, Branded Card in Consumer & Community Banking, you will lead narratives for the Freedom and Slate portfolios, execute 360 campaigns across channels, and partner with senior leaders to protect and elevate the firm's reputation.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in external communications/PR.
• Proven media relations with positive press results.
• Experience in financial services or consumer products media.
• Executive communications experience with leaders.
• Domestic travel may be required.
• Exceptional writing and editing skills.
• Strong relationship-building and cross-functional collaboration.
• Ability to deliver under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop, present and execute strategic communications campaigns that lead business outcomes.
• Collaborate with internal/external teams to tell a holistic story across channels.
• Conduct proactive media outreach and manage media/influencer relations at events.
• Draft pitches, press releases, and social media responses.
• Oversee agency partners on campaign planning, execution and measurement.
• Protect and enhance the firm's reputation externally and with employees.
• Coordinate with internal teams to pull through meaningful storylines within Chase.
