Job summary

Advocate Health seeks an Associate Vice President, Enterprise Clinical Services Internal Communication to shape communication strategies that advance our business objectives, culture, and transformation across Clinical Services and the enterprise.

You will advise senior leaders, translate complex clinical strategies into clear messages, and drive activation and change communications to engage physicians, nurses, leaders, and teammates.

Qualifications

• Ten or more years of progressive strategic communications experience, including internal communications and transformation.
• Experience advising senior executives and providing communication counsel on complex priorities and change.
• Experience partnering across functions such as People, Legal, Operations, Marketing, and clinical leadership.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement internal communication strategies aligned with enterprise objectives, culture, and transformation priorities.
• Serve as trusted advisor to senior leaders on complex needs, change, crises, and strategic initiatives.
• Lead engagement, activation, and change communication to strengthen understanding, alignment, and adoption.
• Translate complex business and clinical strategies into clear messages for physicians, nurses, leaders, and teammates.
• Partner with People Operations to distribute multimedia content across intranet, email, town halls, video, and print.
• Collaborate on enterprise leadership events, town halls, and activation experiences.
• Lead storytelling connecting clinical priorities to enterprise strategy and purpose.
• Ensure messaging consistency across Clinical Services and broader enterprise.
• Advance listening and two-way communication to strengthen feedback loops.
• Represent Enterprise Clinical Services through advisory councils and feedback mechanisms.
