  • Experience developing enterprise-wide communication plans for transformation.

We are seeking a strategic and influential Director, Enterprise Communication & Activation to lead communication strategies that bring our enterprise priorities to life. This leader will help teammates understand where we're headed, why it matters, and how they contribute to our success.


About This Opportunity

The Director, Enterprise Communication & Activation serves as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, partnering across the organization to develop and execute communication strategies that support enterprise initiatives, organizational transformation, culture priorities, and teammate engagement.


This role is responsible for translating complex business strategies into compelling communications that inspire action, drive alignment, and strengthen connection across the enterprise. The successful candidate will bring deep expertise in internal communications, change management, stakeholder engagement, and organizational activation.


What You'll Do


  • Develop and implement enterprise-wide communication strategies aligned with business objectives, transformation efforts, and culture priorities.

  • Serve as a strategic advisor to executive and senior leaders on communication planning, executive visibility, and organizational messaging.

  • Translate complex business strategies and change initiatives into clear, concise, and compelling communications for diverse internal audiences.

  • Partner with executive leaders, department heads, and cross-functional teams to drive alignment around enterprise initiatives and strategic priorities.

  • Identify communication barriers and change adoption risks, developing proactive strategies that support successful transitions and organizational readiness.

  • Build communication and activation plans that help teammates understand, embrace, and engage with organizational change

  • Collaborate closely with Marketing, Brand, External Communications, Human Resources, and other key stakeholders to ensure seamless communication efforts across the organization.

  • Lead enterprise storytelling initiatives that connect strategies, programs, and organizational achievements to the teammate experience.

  • Ensure message consistency and alignment across enterprise, divisions, regions, and departments.

  • Foster two-way communication through feedback mechanisms, listening strategies, and leadership engagement opportunities.

  • Support communication advisory councils and other forums that provide insight into organizational sentiment and communication effectiveness.

  • Develop and mentor communication professionals while fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.

  • Coach team members to serve as trusted communication advisors to senior leaders and executive stakeholders.

  • Drive innovation in communication practices, channels, and activation strategies to enhance organizational effectiveness.


What You'll Bring


  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, Change Management, Organizational Development, or a related field.

  • Seven or more years of experience in strategic communications, executive communications, internal communications, change communications, or a related discipline.

  • Three or more years of leadership experience managing teams, projects, and key stakeholder relationships.

  • Strong expertise in internal communications, organizational change, employee engagement, and communication strategy.

  • Exceptional written, verbal, presentation, and storytelling skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to influence and advise senior leaders and executive stakeholders.

  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to build credibility and partnerships across functions and organizational levels.

  • Experience developing enterprise-wide communication plans that support transformation, operational priorities, and culture initiatives.

  • Ability to navigate ambiguity, influence without authority, and drive alignment in a complex organization.


Preferred


  • Experience supporting large-scale transformation, integration, or enterprise-wide change initiatives.

  • Healthcare industry experience or experience within other large, complex organizations.

  • Master's degree in Communications, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field.
