Job summary

JLL is seeking a Vice President to lead the Virginia Beach program team for a large federal development program. You will own executive client relationships, oversee Senior Project Managers, and represent JLL in senior client engagements, ensuring staffing, delivery, and performance meet strategic goals.

The role requires NAVFAC/DoD program experience, multi-family development, and strong vendor management. Onsite work five days weekly in Virginia Beach, VA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• 10+ years of construction project management experience, including ground-up construction and leadership roles.
• Direct NAVFAC project experience with a track record of leading DoD construction programs.
• Multi-family residential development experience in a developer or owner's representative capacity.
• Experience managing vendors on programs of comparable scale, incl. ~50 personnel.
• Change order review and approval authority on large-scale programs.
• Proven ability to interact with military leadership at the Pentagon and general officer level.
• Team leadership experience managing Senior Project Managers and Project Managers.
• Willingness to work onsite in Virginia Beach area five days per week.

Responsibilities

• Lead JLL's program team with accountability for staffing, delivery, and client satisfaction.
• Own the executive-level client relationship.
• Represent JLL in senior client engagements on program strategy, risk, and performance.
• Manage vendor performance across the program, including cost and schedule management.
• Recruit, develop, and mentor Senior Project Managers and Project Managers on the team.
• Coordinate with JLL leadership on staffing, financial performance, and reporting.
• Identify opportunities to expand JLL's role with the client and federal counterparts.
