Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated is seeking a Vice President, Construction to lead a large-scale federal development program in Virginia Beach. You will own the executive-level client relationship, oversee a team of Senior Project Managers and Project Managers, and ensure staffing, delivery, and client satisfaction across the program.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 10+ years of construction PM experience, including NAVFAC DoD programs, with hands-on vendor management

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• 10+ years of construction project management experience, with ground-up construction and leadership roles.
• Direct NAVFAC project experience and a track record of leading DoD construction programs.
• Multi-family residential development experience in developer/owner capacity.
• Experience managing vendors on large programs with teams (~50 personnel).
• Change order review and approval authority on programs of significant scale.
• Ability to interact with military leadership at the Pentagon.
• Team leadership experience managing Senior PMs and PMs.
• Willingness to work onsite in Virginia Beach five days per week.

Responsibilities

• Lead JLL’s program team with staffing, delivery, and client satisfaction.
• Own the executive-level client relationship.
• Represent JLL in senior client engagements on program strategy, risk, and performance.
• Manage vendor performance across the program, including cost and schedule management.
• Recruit, develop, and mentor Senior Project Managers and Project Managers on the team.
• Coordinate with JLL leadership on staffing, financial performance, and reporting.
• Identify and pursue opportunities to expand JLL’s role with the client and adjacent federal counterparts.
