Job summary

VTG is seeking a Vice President in our Engineering Systems unit for Washington, DC, hybrid role. You will manage program delivery across the portfolio, ensure on-time, on-budget performance, and lead recompete and capture efforts with client leadership.

The role requires 15+ years in PM, DoD/Navy experience, PMP, active DoD Secret clearance, and proven supervisory skills. You will collaborate with HR on staffing and build strong customer relationships.

Qualifications

  • 15+ years in program/project management, with DoD/Navy programs preferred.
  • BS/BA in Engineering or Business Management.
  • PMP certification required or equivalent.
  • Supervisory experience; liaison with SES/Flag-level personnel.
  • Active DoD Secret Clearance or eligibility to obtain one.
  • Specialized experience with DoD/DoN procedures and Navy programs.

Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day operations and delivery across all programs in the assigned area.
  • Manage resources to meet scope, schedule, budget, quality, and compliance.
  • Formulate work standards, assign schedules, review discrepancies and guide teams.
  • Identify and shape opportunities including capture plans and proposals.
  • Assess and mitigate program, financial, operational, and customer risks.
  • Oversee revenue and margin performance, including labor and expenses.
