Job summary

JPMorgan Chase is seeking a Control Manager - Vice President to lead risk and control coverage for the Consumer & Community Banking digital products, including governance for AI deployments. You will guide the control framework, partner with product, technology, data, and risk teams, and support a proactive risk culture across multiple lines of business.

The role involves directing end-to-end risk assessment activities, overseeing control testing, and mentoring a team with potential for growth

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• 7+ years of financial service experience in controls, audit, quality assurance, risk management, or compliance.
• Proficient knowledge of control and risk management concepts; design, enhance, and evaluate risk frameworks.
• Exceptional project management skills; manage schedules and deadlines for multiple projects.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously; strong leadership.
• Proficient in MS Office; develop executive presentations for opportunities and improvements.
• Identify, remediate, and report inconsistencies and control issues.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking; synthesize data and draw conclusions.
• Articulate ideas and results clearly; build relationships and influence across teams.

Responsibilities

• Create a proactive risk and control culture using evaluation strategies and change-management protocols.
• Review program data (KRI/KPI) to support business programs and strategies.
• Lead end-to-end Risk & Control Self-Assessment; manage control breaks and resolutions to reduce risk.
• Engage with control colleagues across the firm; partner with various stakeholders.
• Collaborate with technology to ensure controls in CORE and digital products function properly.
• Influence business partners toward proactive control culture using risk-based approaches.
• Promote a rigorous control environment to identify, escalate, and mitigate risks promptly.
