Banc of California, Inc. is seeking a Credit Analyst to provide financial, credit, and trend analysis for middle market clients. You will assess covenant compliance, collateral, and borrower risk, prepare comprehensive credit packages, and support loan structuring decisions.

The role emphasizes independent analysis and alignment with bank policies. Your work will require strong financial modeling, regulatory knowledge, and collaborative interaction with Relationship Managers and Credit

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics or related field.
• Proficient in Financial Accounting.
• Understanding of lending, cash flow and collateral analysis and loan structuring.
• Compliance with state and federal regulations and laws.
• Knowledge of loan policies and standards.
• Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Advanced math skills and ability to perform financial calculations.
• Excellent organizational, time-management and communication abilities.
• Experience in presenting and building credit packages.

Responsibilities

• Independently evaluate and structure lower complexity credit requests.
• Perform independent credit analysis and risk assessment.
• Prepare credit packages and presentations for review.
• Develop detailed financial models to forecast cash flows.
• Monitor covenants, collateral and risk ratings.
• Review loan documents with RM and counsel; assist in due diligence.
• Support loan administration, collect financial statements, and monitor borrower health.
• Assist in hiring, coaching, and evaluating team members.
