Job summary

Banc of California, Inc. is seeking a credit analyst to provide financial, credit, and trend analysis for middle market and business clients.

You will monitor covenant compliance, perform annual loan reviews, and determine borrower creditworthiness in alignment with bank policies and regulations. The role requires strong financial analysis, credit structuring skills, and the ability to prepare detailed credit packages and financial models under varying economic scenarios.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics or related field.
• Proficient in Financial Accounting and credit analysis.
• Strong mathematical ability and analytical writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Independently evaluates and structures lower complexity credit requests, including cash flow lending and term loans.
• Performs independent credit analysis and risk assessment with financial statement analysis and third-party reports.
• Prepare comprehensive credit packages detailing financial analysis, risk assessment, and loan structure.
• Prepare detailed financial models to forecast cash flows and stress-test debt service ability.
• Review information with Relationship Manager and assist in loan documentation and due diligence.
