Job summary

Banc of California is seeking a senior loan credit professional responsible for delivering financial, credit, and trend analysis for middle market and business clients. The role involves covenant monitoring, collateral oversight, and independent credit evaluation separate from sales teams.

You will review loan documentation, monitor performance, prepare risk reviews, and provide guidance for credit decisions while supporting portfolio management and team development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, or related field; 5+ years lending or portfolio management experience.
• Strong knowledge of real estate lending; construction/bridge experience preferred.
• Solid understanding of commercial lending fundamentals: cash flow analysis, financial analysis, loan structuring.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary credit contact for Borrowers and maintain ongoing relationship engagement.
• Review and interpret loan agreements, guarantees, and other credit documentation.
• Review, approve, and process loan advance requests with Loan Servicing team.
