Job summary

Banc of California is seeking an experienced credit professional to deliver financial, credit, and trend analysis for middle market loan clients. You will monitor covenant compliance and determine borrower creditworthiness.

The role requires preparing detailed financial models, evaluating collateral, and presenting credit packages to Credit Administration. Travel may be required to client calls and on-site reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics or related field.
• Proficient in Financial Accounting.
• Strong knowledge of lending, cash flow and collateral analysis.
• Advanced math and financial modelling skills.
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and structure credit requests including cash flow lending, asset-based lending, term loans, and CRE loans.
• Prepare comprehensive credit packages and presentations for review by a credit administrator.
• Develop detailed financial models to forecast cash flows and assess debt service under scenarios.
• Monitor covenant compliance and risk ratings for assigned relationships.
• Review loan documents with RM and coordinate with legal when needed.
